Privacy policy
This site collects as little as a website can. This page says exactly what, and why.
Edition 1 · 2026-07-07
1. No accounts, no tracking
This site has no accounts, sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Pages are static files.
2. The waitlist email
If you submit your email address to the waitlist, it is stored by Buttondown, the newsletter service that processes the form, and used for one purpose: to send you notice when coverage opens, and occasional publication notes thereafter. It is not sold, shared, or used for anything else. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing removes you from the list. To have your address deleted entirely, write to privacy@spotvalue.io.
3. Hosting logs
The site is served by GitHub Pages, which may record standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for operational purposes under GitHub’s own privacy statement. SpotValue does not receive or use these logs.
4. Changes
If the site ever collects more than the above (for example, when subscriptions launch), this policy will be revised first, and the edition line above will record the change.
